I love that restaurant. I've been going to it since I was a little girl and I hope that it will always be there for me to go to.

This food was not delicious and they did not have chili paste. We will not eat here again. Their jasmine tea was the only thing that was real tasty.

We have been coming here for years, and if you haven't tried it before you must try the cherry chicken. This is the only place that I know of. That serves it. Think sweet and sour chicken but made with marischino cherries instead. I never even knew it was a option until I heard the person in front of me order it. Ever since then we get it every time! The staff there is super friendly and very welcoming. Hands down the best Chinese place in a 50 mile radius

We travel from Sacramento to here just for their food. We don’t go anywhere else but here. Sweet and Sour soup and General Chicken extra spicy. 😍😍

I've been going here for over 12 years now. I drive 15 minutes to go here and pass multiple other Chinese food places along the way. Best Chinese food in El Dorado County hands down in my opinion. Very friendly staff as well. Try the Generals Chicken.

The best Chinese food in El Dorado county hands down!!! I've been coming here for years and for good reason! Food is amazing portions are extremely generous, prices are affordable and customer service is the icing on the cake! These people are so genuine kind and super personable!

Ordered honey walnut shrimp and it was the nastiest thing I’ve ever tried. It has this milky sauce I swear it was mayonnaise drizzled on top it was absolutely disgusting. I didn’t even eat it, I threw it away, and then clocked back into work 3 minutes late. F-U China city !!

Great service/staff and excellent food. Similar to other Chineese restaurants however they are a much smaller restaurant than most and offer slightly smaller portions for the same price. It's great to support local businesses and the staff is so kind 5/5

The orange chicken sauce is really good. I could taste the chilis and citrus.

I've had better. But it was ok. Wasn't blown away. But no real complaint just little bland compared to some.

China City is the best Chinese restaurant hands down! My wife and I have lived in 5 different states over the past few years, and are always actively searching for good Chinese restaurants, but none compare to China City.Not only is the food DELICIOUS, but the staff also treats you like family. Highly recommend this place!

This place never disappoints. We gathered to celebrate my girlfriend's Grandpa's 89th birthday. I got to try 4 different on treys including Sesame Chicken, Mu Shu Pork, Spareribs, and Lemon Chicken. So good, we will return again and again. Very friendly staff

Good basic Chinese food and friendly staff

This place has the *best* Chinese food In El Dorado County. Today (Dec 10, 2018) most of the lunch specials were $7.75 & includes soup; your main course; either steamed or pork fried rice; eggroll and sweet & sour sauce; tea; ice water & a fortune cookie. Fast service, nice staff. They have high chairs if you request one. A ton of customers order to go. They accept debit/credit cards.

The food and service here are amazing. Ive moved away and when I come back, this is a place I HAVE to go to.

My family and I have been coming to China City for 20+ years, they recognize all of us and treat us like family. The food is always amazing.

I have never been able to find a Chinese cuisine that even comes close to the deliciousness of China City! It is the BEST! We had them cater our wedding and several of my siblings!

We've been going here since it opened and we have never been disappointed, whether for lunch, dinner, or takeout. Their food is always fresh and the service excellent!

Great food. Hard to find a good Chinese food place in this county. Definitely try the sesame chicken. Staff was very attentive. Dish sizes were large. A little pricey, but definitely worth it. Will be going back again for more.

We met with friends at this place for lunch. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff welcomed us with a smile and we had a fantastic feeling. The meal was yummy. We enjoyed every moment and we will visit this place again. We recommend this place to all.

Perhaps the worst Take out I have had in years, my mom and I ordered 4 items, only one was even passable. So we threw the order away. And while I was waiting for my order I used the Mens restroom and it was pretty nasty. I modified this review to make it shorter, so perhaps Google will actually publish this one ? thanks for being honest Google.

Wonderful people that make us feel like family when we come in! Food is fresh and the best in the area! We drive 45 minutes one way to have lunch or dinner here and have always had great service and great food! We won’t go anywhere else.

Our first time visiting this restaurant. We had pork fried rice, Almond chicken & Lemon chicken. Everything was fresh & tasted great & the service was amazing. It's hard to find good Chinese food, this place is a hidden gem. Thank you we will be back
